Our step-by-step design process delivers that and more, offering you a seamless experience from concept to creation.
What to expect from The Design Consultation
This is what truly sets us apart from big-box stores and traditional showrooms. Here's how it works:
Step 1: Field Measure & Complimentary Consultation (In-Home)
We begin with a scheduled 2-hour, in-person appointment at your home or jobsite. During this visit, we:
Professionally measure your space
Take photographs for planning reference
Conduct a complimentary consultation to understand your needs, style preferences, and project scope
Unlike traditional retail environments, our on-site approach ensures you get personalized, undivided attention — in your real space, with your goals front and center.
If you'd like to move forward after this consultation, we collect a $200 3D design deposit, which covers the design work and will be applied to your cabinetry purchase.
We’ll then schedule your second appointment: a Kitchen & Interior Planning Session, where the design process takes shape.
Step 2: First Studio Planning Appointment
During your first visit to our studio, your dedicated designer will:
Present your initial 3D floor plans and renderings
Gather feedback and note any revisions you’d like
Assist with material selections, including countertops, sinks, tile, lighting, and plumbing fixtures
Begin curating a complete, coordinated design package
At the end of this appointment, your designer will begin refining the plans and compiling a full design presentation with product quotes and updated renderings.
We will also schedule your second planning appointment before you leave.
Note: Your $200 deposit covers both studio appointments and is still applicable to your cabinetry purchase.
If you decide not to move forward, you will retain your professional design plans and consultation. Plans can be printed or delivered digitally.
Step 3: Second Studio Planning Appointment
Where Your Dreams Become a Reality
At your second planning session, you’ll receive:
Revised 3D renderings, elevations, and floor plans
A complete design presentation and finalized material quote
A full review of your selected products and layout updates
If you're ready to proceed, we’ll finalize paperwork and collect full payment for all special-order materials.
Why Full Payment is Required:
Due to fluctuating market prices, manufacturing schedules, and vendor terms, we do not accept partial payments. Manufacturers begin producing your custom materials immediately upon order — this ensures accuracy, protection from price changes, and timely delivery.
Special Order Material Policy
All special-order materials are non-refundable. These products are made specifically for your project and include:
Custom cabinetry (wood species, finishes, dimensions)
Countertops (material, thickness, edge style, color)
Plumbing fixtures (faucets, sinks, finishes, sizes)
Tile, mosaic selections, lighting features, and more
By signing your material agreement, you acknowledge these items are custom-created and therefore not eligible for return.
We appreciate your understanding and support of our policy, which ensures quality and accountability at every stage.
Additional Design Services (Optional)
Need more time or want to explore additional concepts?
We offer extended design sessions starting at $50/hour, billed in full at the time of service. These are ideal for clients who need:
More design revisions
Additional room planning
Specialty design or product research
While your initial $200 deposit still applies to your cabinetry, additional design fees are not creditable toward material purchases.
